CYNTHIA BOLTON - KARASIK

PRINCIPAL OF SPECIAL PROJECTS

Cynthia started her career in lighting interning for Luminae Inc. during her senior year at the Academy of Art College. She was hired as an assistant to the principal and soon became Senior Designer. She then went on to establish her own lighting Design firm, The Lighting Group, in 1993.

Cynthia is involved primarily in hospitality and high-end residential lighting design projects. With her keen sense of design and sensibility for color and the fine Arts she has the ability to enhance the beauty of any space. Her highest standards are set by the combination of professional judgments, creativity, and awareness for quality.

Cynthia was the lighting designer behind "The Berkeley House" for the Idea House project in 1998 working with Joe Ruggiero from HGTV. Her work and insights have been published in Custom Home, Kitchen and Bath, Visual Merchandising and Store Design, LD&A and Residential Lighting.
